Caterite is shortlisted for two categories of In-Cumbria Business Awards
Posted | 9th August 2017
It is just revealed that Caterite has been shortlisted for two categories of the prestigious In-Cumbria Business Award (previously called CN Business Awards) and they are: Best Business Person and Best Customer Service.
In-Cumbria Award is a premier event which recognises excellence among the county’s professional community. More than 200 companies applied for 16 awards this year and only three were selected to be finalist for each award.
Amol Rajan, BBC media editor and former editor of The Independent will be presenting the inaugural ceremony at The Halston, Carlisle on the 9th of November.
Being shortlisted for Best Customer Service is a great testimonial to our consistent focus on bringing the best products at the best prices to our customers.
“I was pleased and totally excited to learn the news. It is a great honour and recognition to all of the effort and changes we brought to the company in the past few years”
-Richard Fletcher, MD
Corporate Golf Challenge
Posted | 12th June 2017
Thank you to everyone who joined our Corporate Golf Challenge at Eden Golf Club on Wednesday.
This event was hosted by Eden Golf Club and sponsored by Caterite to raise money for the High Sheriff’s Crimebeat Fund. High Sheriff’s Crimebeat Fund gives easy to access grants for groups working with young children and we have raised altogether £95 on the day.
The winners included Gemini Group (1st), Borderloos (2nd) and Border Motor Group (3rd). They all had 83 points, it was a card playoff and taken on the last 6 holes of the back 9.
Thanks again for taking part and hope to see you at our Caterite Charity Golf day later in the year.

Nestle Charity Coffee Morning
Posted | 9th June 2017
Many thanks to everyone who have participated and supported our Coffee Morning yesterday! We hope you enjoyed all the cakes and drinks and a little break from your busy work. Up to now, we have successfully raised £138 in total and all the money will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
This event was organised in memory of Paul Winder, our old friend who passed away in April. It was backed by Nestlé Professional UK & Ireland who provided us all the food and drink and set up the table. Thank you all again and well done!

It’s early June, summer has officially started and here at Caterite, things are heating up.
After our Big Expo in February, we experienced our busiest week to date in early April and the most successful Easter on record.
Even though sales figures were at unprecedented levels, our service quality was not affected. In fact, we have just disclosed some exciting figures which showcase our dedication to customer service and operational excellence.
Our year to date supply rate is at 99.64%, meaning that we only missed 3 items for next day delivery per 1,000 items ordered until the midnight before and this is better than our record last year of 99.21%.
We are equally pleased with our service delivery accuracy rate at 99.7% compared to 99.5% last year.
Everything looks very positive in general and we’ll continue to work even harder to beat our own record so that you, our customers, can enjoy the best products at the best prices with the best service.

We're currently working on giving you the option to shop using a traditional list or new grid view! We believe in giving our customers the ability to shop in the way that they like.
