How do I register?

To register for an online shopping account, you will need to fill out ‘Request an Account’ form located at the top right of the website. You will have the option to choose

Business Account

If you are an existing Caterite Customer you will receive an email with your login information once you have completed all the fields, or if you are a new customer, same rules apply however your account will automatically be set up as a ‘Cash on Delivery’ until your business has been credit checked.  

Personal Account

Once you have completed all the fields in the form you will receive your login details via email. You will receive this within 2-3 hours of setting up your account.


How do I search for a product?

We have three different ways to search on our website:

Menu Search
You can hover over and click the headings at the top left of the page, using the drop down filters to refine the search for the required item.

Quick Search
At the top of the page there is a search bar, use this when searching for a specific product. Keep the search terms brief for best results - you can search by product name, brand name, department or you can even search by product code.


How do I view this month’s promotions?

On the homepage you will be able to view all our ongoing promotions. You will also be able to download our promotions from the menu bar in the top left of the page.  


How do I add products to my basket?

Once you have found a product you would like to add to your basket.
Simply click (-) or (+) and change to the quantity required, then add to basket.


How do I add a case or split items to my basket?

If a product is available both as a case and a split, there will be two quantity boxes on your options to add to basket, the box on the left is the split amount, and the box on the right is the case amount. Simply click (-) or (+) and change to the quantity required, then add to basket.


How do I amend products in my basket?

You can simply adjust the quantity of items by viewing your shopping basket and clicking (-) or (+) next to the product you would like to amend.


How do I create a shopping list?

While you are browsing products, if you want to add something to a list, you can check the box on the left and select ‘save selected to shopping list’ at the top of the page, here you can choose your list or create a new one. Lists are a convenient way of categorising and saving products you buy frequently, saving you time on your order.


What are ‘My Products’?

My products is a list of everything you have ordered from Caterite, when you first log in you will be able to view any products you have previously ordered by phone, fax or online.


How do I checkout?

Business Account

Once you are happy with everything that is in your basket, simply view basket, select your delivery slot, and click ‘place order’. If you have ‘Special Order – Connect’ items in your basket you will be able to select numerous delivery dates. You will receive an email confirming your order has been placed.

Personal Account

Once you are happy with everything that is in your basket, simply view basket, select card payment, and place order. Once you have paid for your order you will be able to select a collection time. You will then receive an email confirming your order details.

How do I amend or cancel my order once placed?

 

Business Account

Personal Account

We are unable to amend your order once you have places. If you would like to cancel please contact us through our live chat which is available at the bottom of the page. 


How do I view my order history?

To view you order history please click on the 'Buy Again' button at the top of the page. 


How do I view my invoices and statements?

Click on the ‘My Account’ tab and then on ‘My Paperwork’. All your recent invoices will be here for you to view and print for your records. Please note that invoices are available from 9am on the day of the orders selected delivery date. Click here to go to 'My Paperwork'.


How is my order confirmed?

Once you have placed your order at the checkout, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address associated with your account.


Is there a minimum order amount?

Business Account

We don't have a minimum order amount, however orders should achieve on average £75 per delivery.

Personal Account

We have a minimum order of £50 for all personal accounts. 


How many orders can I place in a day?

Business Account

You can place as many orders as you like throughout the day, these will be consolidated into one delivery. (providing you have selected the same delivery day)

Personal Account

You can place as many orders as you like throughout the day, but each order must be a minimum of £50.00. You cannot add items to an order once you have paid.

Can I book a delivery / collection time?

Business Account

Currently you can only select delivery slots by date, your order will be delivered at your usual delivery time.

Personal Account

On checkout you can select a collection day and time.


How do I pay for my order?

Business Account

All orders are payable by the method of payment set out in your Account/Credit application form.

Personal Account

Your order will be paid for at checkout.
