Caretaker / Cleaner

Due to the fact that we are a fast growing company, we are expanding the team and opening new opportunities in the company and searching for a Caretaker / Cleaner with experience in a busy warehouse environment to join our Team in Embleton.

About the Role

Our stores are packed with thousands of products, including general grocery items, frozen goods and chilled produce, the highest standard of hygiene is expected daily which makes for a fast-moving, busy and varied day. Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Monday to Friday with shift hours of 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • General purpose cleaning of all storage and distribution areas.
  • Maintaining external areas to a high standard of hygiene.
  • High level cleaning in chilled areas.
  • Control of the cardboard and plastic recycling program.

Experience in working within a busy warehouse or industrial environment would be an advantage. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times therefore a flexible, focused and hands-on approach is of benefit.

Warehouse Operative - Fresh

We have a large product portfolio consisting of over 500 products, which will give you a choice of quality and value for money on products. Due to the fact that we are a fast growing company, we are expanding the team and opening new opportunities in the company and searching for a Fresh Produce Assistant with experience in a busy warehouse environment to join our Fresh Produce Team in Embleton.

About the Role

Our fresh warehouse is packed with hundreds of products from all over the world, ranging from the standard to exotic fruits and vegetables, without our warehouse teams they wouldn’t be on the shelves for our customers! Our warehouse teams manage the arrival of stock and the daily replenishments which makes for a fast-moving, busy and varied day. Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Monday and Saturday with shift hours of 05:00 hrs to 13:30 hrs.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Dealing with deliveries at goods in.
  • Booking stock into the warehouse management system.
  • Replenishing stock of all shapes and sizes in the warehouse.
  • Using all our handling equipment (don’t worry, we’ll fully train you on how to use all the equipment safely and effectively).
  • Maintaining the high standards of operation in the storage areas.

Experience in working within the busy environments of a stock or dispatch department is of advantage but full training on products, procedures and systems will be provided. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times, as the workload can quickly change depending on the amount of stock and deliveries received therefore a flexible, focused and hands-on approach is of benefit.

About You

You’ll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You’ll have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills. You’ll deliver high standards, working accurately and efficiently. Nightshift Order Picker

About the Role

As a crucial member of our night shift operations you will be responsible for carefully picking customer orders ready for delivery the next day. You will ensure all products are correct and stacked safely. You may be required to lift products up to 25kg. You will pick orders through a voice pick system in both ambient and temperature controlled areas in a fast-moving, busy and varied environment. Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Monday and Saturday with shift hours of 19:00 hrs to 03.30 hrs.

You’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Maintain and complete your nightly pick rate.
  • Ensure the accuracy of your picking with regards to the provision of the picking service package and that specifically all products being correctly picked, labelled customers’ orders.
  • Maintain a hygienic working environment by the clean as you go policy.
  • Provide good and consistent communication to your superiors.
  • Responsibility for the hygiene and health and safety in your work area and others

Multi-Drop Delivery Driver 7.5tonne / Van

Due to the fact that we are a fast growing company, we are expanding the team and opening new opportunities in the company and searching for a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver with experience in a busy distribution environment to join our Transport Team in Embleton.

About the Role

Our delivery drivers have a very important role within our company as you will be meeting and delivering to our customers. Therefore the successful applicant will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, physically fit, reliable and able to work alone and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Monday and Saturday with shift hours of 05:00hrs to 13.30hrs.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Checking and loading their own vehicle
  • Checking paperwork and route planning
  • Delivering mainly in Cumbria and Southwest Scotland
  • Checking and counting products
  • Communication with customers and office

Experience in working within the busy dispatch department is of advantage but full training on products, procedures and systems will be provided. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times, as the workload can quickly change depending on the amount of orders received therefore a flexible, focused and hands-on approach is of benefit.

Due to the fact that we are a fast growing company, we are expanding the team and opening new opportunities in the company and searching for a Customer Service Advisor with experience in a busy sales environment to join our Customer Service Team in Embleton.

About the Role

This vacancy is in our multi-skilled Customer Support sales team, meaning that you'll be the first point of contact for all customers who call us with orders and queries. You'll provide excellent customer service and use your sales skills to give added peace of mind, by up-selling other products that customers can purchase that best suit their needs. Successful candidates will be required to work 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday and be flexible to work either day shift or evening shift.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Responsible for first in class customer service- answering incoming calls as well as making outbound sales calls.
  • Maintenance of customer and pricing records.
  • Ensuring customers are always informed of our new product offerings and current promotions.
  • Serving our customers with professionalism and excellence – you will manage a daily call list – calling our customers at the right time and taking their order with accuracy.
  • Telesales representatives must be motivated and determined with a target driven mentality as you will be required to hit sales, meet weekly targets and upsell using your knowledge of current Caterite products and new lines.

Experience in working within the busy sales office is of advantage but full training on products, procedures and systems will be provided. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times, as the workload can quickly change depending on the amount of calls received therefore a flexible, focused and hands-on approach is of benefit.

About You

A skilled customer service and sales professional, you'll thrive on beating sales targets - but you'll always make sure that the customer's interests come first.
