CATERITE 

Butcher (Full-Time):

This role is key to the successful operation and future growth of Caterite Foodservice and gives the right candidate a real opportunity to build a career with a successful forward-thinking company.

Pay and Working Hours:

Full-time working hours are 40 hours per week including some weekends. Normal working hours are approximately 5am to 1pm. Candidates will be required on rare occasions to work support evening shifts. You will also get 28 days paid holiday, good breaks, discounts on food and drink as well as a secure and permanent position.

Very good rate of pay for the right candidate depending on experience.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Butchery or chef experience.
  • An extensive knowledge of all types of meats. Their origins and their preparation.
  • Must be willing to work in accordance to the company HACCP document. 
  • Need to have a good work ethic, punctuality and be well presented. 
  • Must be able to work extra hours, especially during busy periods of the year. 
  • Valid UK drivers’ licence.

About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring we have the best quality fresh meat available at all times. Checking new stock into our fresh meat facility accurately and rejecting any poor-quality product on arrival. You will have the responsibility of preparing our meat products so that they are made to customer specification and ready to be assembled by our night picking operation.

Night Picker & Quality Checker

Job Title Night Picker & Quality Checker

Pay & Benefits

The basic rate of pay is £8.00 per hour, on successful completion of a probationary period the hourly rate will rise to £9.00 per hour.. You will also get 28 days paid holiday, good breaks, discounts on food and drink, as well as a secure and permanent position within a forward thinking business.

Working Hours

Approximately 40 hours per week. Normal shifts would be 19:00 to 04.30 Sundays to Fridays. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods from time-to-time.

Skills Required

Previous experience of working nights is essential. Being physically fit is also really important as you will be required to do some heavy lifting, combined with pushing assembled orders around our warehouse operation. You will be working in a large and experienced team who are able to offer you lots of support in your new role. Basic IT skills are required and it helps to be thorough, friendly and organised. You require a drivers licence and access to your own transport to get to work.

About The Role Our warehouse-based Assembly Team are responsible for picking orders for our customers, and ensuring that their orders are picked accurately and to the highest quality.

In addition to picking customer orders you will be required to maintain the high levels of cleanliness throughout our warehouse operation.

Multi-drop delivery driver

Pay & Benefits

The basic rate of pay is £8-8.50 per hour depending on your licence. You will also get 28 days paid holiday, full uniform and training, discounts on food and drink, as well as a secure and permanent position within a forward thinking business.

Working Hours

The working hours are for 35-45 hours per week. Normal shifts would be 05:30 to 15:30 Monday to Saturday. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods from time-to-time.

Skills Required

A clean valid UK driver’s licence is essential. It would be advantageous to possess a digital tachograph card and up to date driver CPC. Being physically fit is also really important as you will be required to do manual work, combined with loading and unloading of orders onto your delivery vehicle. You will be working in a large and experienced team who are able to offer you lots of support in your new role. You require your own transport to get to work, and it helps to be thorough, be of smart appearance, friendly and organised.

About The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately loading pre picked customer orders onto their delivery vehicle. The goods will then be delivered to various businesses throughout Cumbria and south west Scotland. The candidate will deal first hand with our customers and ensure they receive a professional and courteous service.

Class 2 (C) Multi-drop delivery driver

The basic rate of pay is £9.00 per hour. You will also get 28 days paid holiday, good breaks, discounts on food and drink, pension contributions as well as a secure and permanent position within a forward-thinking business.

Working Hours 

Normal working hours would be approximately 40 to 48 hours per week (8 hours per day up to 6 days per week across Monday to Saturday). Normal shifts start at 05:30, but finishing times may vary each day depending on work load. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods.

Skills Required 

A valid category C UK driver’s licence, along with a digital tachograph and up to date driver CPC is essential. Being physically fit is also really important as you will be required to do some manual work, combined with loading and unloading of orders onto your delivery vehicle. You will be working in a large and experienced team who are able to offer you lots of support in your new role. You require your own transport to get to work, and it helps to be thorough, friendly and organised.
