CATERITE 

Digital Designer – Caterite Food and Wineservice

Caterite Food and Wineservice is an ambitious Cumbrian-based business specialising in the supply of food ingredients and drinks to hotels, restaurants, cafes, schools, care homes and other caterers.

We are seeking a digital designer to join our Design and Marketing team in delivering creative content across numerous digital channels for Caterite, Grapevine, CaterPrep and Box clever.

The role is varied and requires a mix of creative talent, technical ability and passion.

You will be expected to deliver a variety of design, digital content and concepts to meet marketing campaigns, sales initiatives and design strategies. These can include website development, email marketing campaigns, digital advertising, interactive directories and brochures, infographics, social media management, presentations, video production and more.

Skills & Experience:

-          Adobe Creative Suite

-          Have a minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in digital design or marketing.

-          Be able to use your initiative and prioritise your workload

-          Have a basic understanding of UX/UI

-          Ecommerce and website architecture knowledge would be a bonus

-          Must be well-organized and can work in a team-driven environment.

-          Up-to-date with graphics, digital design, and digital trends

Working Hours
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

Telesales Operator (Night shift)

Working Hours

35 hours per week/Evening Shifts 5pm until midnight. Extra as Required


Caterite Foodservice
We are an established foodservice wholesaler based at Embleton near Cockermouth and are looking for a Customer Service Operator to work evening shifts.

About the Role
You will be dealing with existing customers and calling new customers from an extensive database of local cafes, bars, restaurants, hotels, leisure facilities, hospitals and schools.

Applicants must have a pleasant telephone manner combined with the ability to provide excellent customer service. Good IT skills are essential.

Knowledge of the foodservice industry is not essential, but will provide a distinct advantage.

Hours: 35 hours per week between the hours of 5pm and midnight

Multi-drop delivery driver

Pay & Benefits

The basic rate of pay is £8.40-8.90 per hour depending on your licence. You will also get 28 days paid holiday, full uniform and training, discounts on food and drink, as well as a secure and permanent position within a forward thinking business.

Working Hours

The working hours are for 35-45 hours per week. Normal shifts would be 05:30 to 15:30 Monday to Saturday. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods from time-to-time.

Skills Required

A clean valid UK driver’s licence is essential. It would be advantageous to possess a digital tachograph card and up to date driver CPC. Being physically fit is also really important as you will be required to do manual work, combined with loading and unloading of orders onto your delivery vehicle. You will be working in a large and experienced team who are able to offer you lots of support in your new role. You require your own transport to get to work, and it helps to be thorough, be of smart appearance, friendly and organised.

About The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately loading pre picked customer orders onto their delivery vehicle. The goods will then be delivered to various businesses throughout Cumbria and south west Scotland. The candidate will deal first hand with our customers and ensure they receive a professional and courteous service.

Class 2 (C) Multi-drop delivery driver

Pay & Benefits

The basic rate of pay is £9.40 per hour. You will also get 28 days paid holiday, good breaks, discounts on food and drink, pension contributions as well as a secure and permanent position within a forward-thinking business.

Working Hours

Normal working hours would be approximately 40 to 48 hours per week (8 hours per day up to 6 days per week across Monday to Saturday). Normal shifts start at 05:30, but finishing times may vary each day depending on work load. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods.

Skills Required

A valid category C UK driver’s licence, along with a digital tachograph and up to date driver CPC is essential. Being physically fit is also really important as you will be required to do some manual work, combined with loading and unloading of orders onto your delivery vehicle. You will be working in a large and experienced team who are able to offer you lots of support in your new role. You require your own transport to get to work, and it helps to be thorough, friendly and organised.

Working Hours

The working hours are for 16 - 20 hours per week. Normal shifts would be 05:30 to 15:30 Friday and Saturday. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods from time-to-time.
