Customer Order Processor (Nights)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Customer Order Processor to join our Night Customer Service team. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless order processing and customer support during evening operations.

You will be responsible for handling a range of customer and order management tasks. This is a fast-paced role requiring accuracy, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process high volumes of customer orders received via voicemail, email and online ordering portals within order cut-off times.

  • Ensure all orders are entered quickly, accurately and in line with customer requirements.

  • Monitor and manage the sales inbox, processing customer orders and prioritising urgent requests.

  • Process customer credits and assist with account queries.

  • Respond to customer enquiries via live chat and email.

  • Make outbound calls to customers where call-backs are required to resolve order queries, shortages or complaints.

  • Work closely with the Night Assembly Team to ensure orders are processed accurately and available for picking before the nightly dispatch deadline.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all customer information is updated within company systems.

  • Deliver a high level of accuracy while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

 

Requirements 

  • Previous experience in an order processing, data entry or sales administration role.

  • Fast and accurate keyboard and data entry skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process orders accurately under time pressure.

  • Comfortable using multiple systems for order processing, invoicing and customer account management.

  • Able to prioritise workload effectively to meet strict nightly order deadlines.

  • A proactive and reliable team player with the ability to work independently during night shifts.

Full Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at the Caterprep site in Penrith, supporting caterers across Cumbria, Scotland and the North of England.

This is a hands-on operational role based within our busy prepared fruit and vegetable production facility. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time operating machinery, overseeing prep processes and ensuring that products meet our high quality hygiene and safety standards.

You’ll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, ensuring maximum product availability, maintaining compliance and supporting team members day to day. Office-based administration will only be required when covering for the Head of Production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on the production floor, operating machinery and supporting prep room activities.

  • Lead by example to maintain high productivity and quality standards.

Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking orders for our customers and loading them onto their delivery vehicle. The goods will then be delivered to various businesses throughout Cumbria. The candidate will deal first-hand with our customers and ensure they receive a professional and courteous service.

In addition to delivering customer orders, you will be required to assist our warehouse operation by unloading supplier deliveries and help to maintain the high levels of cleanliness throughout our warehouse.

You will be required to work 5 days per week Monday to Friday, with shift hours of 08:30hrs to 17.00hrs. We do require applicants to be flexible to help cover busy seasonal periods from time-to-time.

 

About You

You will be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results. You will have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills. You will deliver high standards, working accurately and efficiently. You care about delivering goods to customers ‘on time in full’ to ensure customers are provided with the highest standard of service.

Being physically fit is also important as you will be required to do some manual work in our warehouse, combined with loading and unloading of orders onto your delivery vehicle. We are seeking an IT Technician to provide first-line IT support across the business. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of IT systems by acting as the first point of contact for user issues, faults and service requests.
